About Oakland
Oakland's terminal is at Jack London Square, the city's waterfront, named after the author who grew up here. Restaurants, bars and a Sunday farmers market are a few steps from the boat.
The ferry takes about 25 minutes to the Ferry Building. If you miss it, Lake Merritt and 12th Street BART stations are 15 minutes away on foot, and the board shows the next train.

Parking at Oakland
Validated, no overnight parking. 101 Washington Street garage, near the terminal at 10 Clay Street.
- Ferry riders get validated parking: validate at the ferry dock or on the boat before returning to the garage. SF Bay Ferry doesn't say what the validated rate is.
- Lost tickets cost $20. No overnight parking.
